NA DRUGIM BRZEGU TĘCZY  

Przychodzisz zawsze do mnie                                             
gdy zapada zmrok
zapalasz rzekę tęczy
i przerywasz noc
zapalasz rzekę tęczy
i przerywasz noc.

Nie pytasz nigdy o nic
a jednak wiesz co chcę:
przepłynąć poprzez tęczę
na jej nieznany drugi brzeg
przepłynąć poprzez tęczę
na jej nieznany drugi brzeg.

Zobaczyć słońce w nocy
zobaczyć latem śnieg
królika trzymać w dłoniach
i głaskać dłonią jego sierść

ON THE OTHER SHORE THE RAINBOW

You always come to me
when dusk is setting in
you light a rainbow river
and break the night.

You never ask for anything
you know what I want after all:
to cross the rainbow
to its unknown other bank.

To see the sun in the night
to see snow in summer
to hold a rabbit in one’s hands
and stroke his fur with one’s hand.
