It should had affect also Malta. It often rains sand here coming from Africa, to the delight of all who wash cars for money. But last week I was in Malaysia, so I missed the strange sunlight.

You’re right, it does not look like a real sunset. About a week ago I made this photo. Such strange sun and light were visible in London, but also in Poland and Finland. Apparently it’s a sandstorm effect in Africa !!!
The original photo was low contrast and hazy. Raising the contrast created such an unrealistic effect.

It doesn’t look like the sun, it`s not an ordinary sunset, that`s why I like it.
